Mr. Paul R. Taylor has been for over 25 years, the key principal of SRP Development and have performed and perfected the process of delivering economic resources and construction development to serve the needs of urban and rural communities across the country. Through the creation of their Community Centered Banking Program, he has been able to bring new financial resources to communities, enabling banks to provide mortgage financing for development projects and residential mortgages to clients served by the community.


Mr. Andrew Jackson has been a positive force for change and development of minority business enterprises that increase the economic vitality and competitiveness of the entire region. In 2011, Jackson was instrumental in developing the proposal that led the U.S. Department of Commerce to open a Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center in Cleveland. Since its opening in April, 2011, the Center has helped to secure $23 million in contracts and $8 million in financing for its clients.


Mrs. Romona Robinson is one of the most respected and admired journalists in Northeast Ohio. Seven-time Emmy Award winner Romona Robinson is the 5, 6 & 11pm 19 Action News Anchor. Romona has received several Emmy Awards for her anchoring and reporting. Some she's most proud of, her exclusive interview with President Barack Obama. She's also covered Nelson Mandela and President Ronald Reagan.


Rev. Dr. Larry L. Macon, Sr. There are few scholars who have the love and appreciation for the Church as does Dr. Larry Macon. He has served as a Adjuct professor of religion in African American Studies at Cleveland State University and authored several books. Dr. Macon pastors one of the most progressive Churches in the country. He is an anointed, innovative, visionary pastor and a man of many talents and wears many hats. The power of God’s word is eminent, he teaches and ministers to thousands at Mt. Zion.


Mr. Emery Ivery is the President of United Way Suncoast (Tampa Bay) which has retooled their work to create lasting change through a Community Impact Agenda. United Way approaches critical regional issues with long-term, solution-oriented thinking and action.Their Impact Agenda focuses on four areas: Caring to Help Children & Youth Achieve Their Potentia,l Caring to Assist Individuals & Families to Achieve Financial Stability, Caring to Create Vibrant Neighborhoods and Caring to Support a Safety Net of Services.


Mr. Ned Marini, Partner at Marini & Associates, previously worked for Equitable Capital Management Corporation as Vice President of Corporate Operations. He was also the CFO for McCall's Publishing Company. McCall's Magazine held the rank of the fifth largest women's magazine in the United States. He obtained public accounting exposure at Seidman & Seidman.


Rev. Daniel Macon is copastor at Mt. Zion Oakwood Village and Account Executive at TV Fox 8. He has been preaching, and teaching the word of God since the age of 12. Now well into his twenties, Dan is taking the word to the masses. Dan has ministered on his journey as a football and track star in high school and college. Due to his high impact speaking ability, he has been in high demand throughout Northeast Ohio and now copastor Dan is taking his message to the youth and young adult community. Dan holds a bachelors degree in Communication and Ethics from Bowling Green State University. Dan Macon is now the face of City of Zion Ministries media outreach ministry, and Youth and Young Adult Pastor at Mt. Zion. He believes that today is the day for the next generation to "Rise Up."


Steering Committe Committment

An advisory committee made up of high level stakeholders and/or experts who provide guidance in providing for a Children and Youth Center of Excellence and Leadership at the Mt. Zion Church. They are members and non-members of Mt. Zion Church who believe Mt. Zion Church has the history and credibility to Continue the Vision in building Phase 3 of the Mt. Zion Church of Oakwood Village Project.
